Musical work: An overview of productions and CDs with Katharina Dustmann as music & sound director, composer and musician
In collaboration with Marco Ambrosini (Studio Katharco), all of the music for the following events was composed, recorded and played by Katharina Dustmann. On site, she was responsible for the installations, some of which were multi-channel.
"The Return of Marco Polo" A contemporary opera, commissioned by the Alte Oper Frankfurt and in collaboration with Marco Ambrosini and the Italian Cultural Institute. World premiere in the Alte Oper Frankfurt, further performances include in the Stadtgarten Cologne, Treibhaus Innsbruck, Konzerthaus Hamburg.

"Between Heaven and Hell" compositions for a multimedia production commissioned by the Foundation for Industrial Monument Preservation and Historical Culture in the old Zweckel machine hall after Dante Alighieri with orchestra, vocal soloists, dancers, actors and artists.
"Misch:Lagen" A multimedia production in the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex. Texts based on Ovid, with orchestra, vocal soloists, dancers, actors and artists.
"Zechenzirkus“ *Music for a multimedia production commissioned by the Foundation for Industrial Monument Preservation and Historical Culture on the outer wall of an almost collapsed winding tower in the Gelsenkirchen mine - with orchestra, vocal soloists, dancers, actors and artists.
"ILLUMINA" A light and sound production with surround experiences in complex multi-channel technology and synchronized lighting design, in seven different landscape gardens in NRW for the Decentralized State Garden Show NRW, Euroga 2002 GmbH.
"QUASIBOLERO" *A multimedia production by Forum Interart as part of the "Extraschicht" and the designation of the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex (Essen) as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
"Ensemblia" A light and sound production with surround experiences in complex multi-channel technology and synchronized light design for the Hollein Museum and the Ensemblia Festival in Mönchengladbach.
"ExtraSchicht" The night of industrial monuments in NRW Gasometer Oberhausen. A multimedia production on the outside wall of the gasometer with an aerial acrobat.
"Henrichenburg Boat Lift” A light and sound installation by Forum Interart with sub-bass effects on a water surface.
"ILLUMINA 2003" A light and sound production with Forum Interart, in the old Wülfrath-Prangenhaus quarry with the world's first multimedia multi-channel broadcast over a lake with a diameter of over 800m. The event received the Event Award 2004. (EVA 2004 - PUBLIC EVENTS - SILVER)
"Paths of the Renaissance" *A light and sound production with surround experiences in complex multi-channel technology and synchronized lighting design in Brake Castle, the courtyard and the park in collaboration with the Oni Wytars ensemble.
"Rheingisters" A multimedia production with actors and artists, 25 years of Rheinauenpark on behalf of the city of Bonn.
"2nd Light and Sound Festival" *A light and sound production with surround experiences in complex multi-channel technology and synchronized lighting design at Brake Castle / Lemgo.
