work on the “synergy of image and music”.
Katharina Dustmann (Studio Katharco) exclusively composes music as a synesthetic experience with Marco Ambrosinii and Jean Louis Matinier to selected images from the exhibition by the painter Christian von Grumbkow.

"ILLUMINA 2003" Compositions and musical direction for: A photo and sound production with Forum Interart, in the old Wülfrath-Prangenhaus quarry with the world's first multimedia multi-channel broadcast over a lake with a diameter of over 800m. The event received the Event Award 2004. (EVA 2004 - PUBLIC EVENTS – SILVER)
2002 "QUASIBOLERO" music and images for the multimedia production of Forum Interart as part of the "Extraschicht" and the designation of the Zollverein Coal Mine (Essen) as a world cultural heritage site by UNESCO.
2002 "Ensemblia" A light and sound production, my sound images with music as a surround experience in complex multi-channel technology and synchronized lighting design for the Hollein Museum and the Ensemblia Festival in Mönchen-Gladbach.
2001 "ILLUMINA" A light and sound production with my sound images in surround experiences in complex multi-channel technology to images and synchronized lighting design, in seven different landscape gardens in NRW for the Decentralized State Garden Show NRW, Euroga 2002 GmbH.
2000 "Misch:Lagen” A multimedia production in the Zollverein mine. Images and texts based on Ovid, with orchestra, vocal soloists, dancers, actors and artists.
2000 "Mine Circus" *Music and images for a multimedia production commissioned by the Industrial Monument Preservation and Historical Culture Foundation on the outer wall of an almost collapsed winding tower in the Gelsenkirchen colliery - with an orchestra, vocal soloists, dancers, actors and artists.
1998 "Between Heaven and Hell" compositions and images for a multimedia production commissioned by the Industrial Monument Preservation and Historical Culture Foundation in the old Wunschel machine hall based on Dante Alighieri with an orchestra, vocal soloists, dancers, actors and artists.
